Clarisse Henry
Clarissa Henry is a self-love author and artist who helps women heal their trauma so that they can let go of the past and rise up to their true potential. At just 4 years old, Clarissa was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes - a condition that nearly cost her life on multiple occasions due to her own neglect. Raised by a cold and distant mother, she had to learn to love herself when it seemed no one else would. In her book, Clarissa teaches women the simple and easy strategies that helped her embrace self-love after physical and emotional abuse, self-neglect, and an agonizing divorce. Today, she lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband of 23 years, two lazy dogs, and one cat that think he owns the house. She is a devoted hockey fan and proud mother of a 31-year-old daughter.Â
